The city of Sipalay is on
the island of Negros in the middle of the Philippines.
There are two possibilities to reach the island.
1. By plane to Manila
and from there to Bacolod. From Bacolod you take a taxi or
bus to Sipalay. The taxi ride takes between two to three
hours and cost about 3500 Pesos. The journey by bus lasts
between four to five hours, but only costs 100 Pesos (
please note that the buses molst likely won't have
air-condition).
2. Direct
flight to Cebu city. From Cebu by speed ferry to
Dumaguete ( already on the island of Negros). In Dumaguete
you have to get a taxi or bus. The taxi rice takes about 3
hours and costs about 3700 Pesos ( it is necessary to
bargain).
